I feel like some of you perceive my comments as being rude, so I would love to hear advice on how to be someone else that you would approachable and well-liked by you all.

Cozin tbh there is nothing like being well liked here, and you don't have to try to do that, I don't think there really is anyone who is liked by all except CuriousReader but no-one can compete with him, also you may have had a bad timing here since everyone now has like a role or personna and we kinda know that. I will suggest that you try to get to know others and offer your help when you feel like it, without trying to impress anyone. We are all different and have different personalities, and would welcome you just the way you're, but you have to give us time.
Just be yourself you can't make everyone like you

Here's small advice.
Look up what fauxpology and ifpology is, and try to avoid using it so often.
Just saying I dont think many people would perceive someone's comments as rude or derogatory if they didn't feel that way, one person maybe but not many. Maybe try not being rude in the first place 
I wasn't trying to be rude, but I understand that people don't really like my way of speaking, so I've given up on being polite.
