As long as the author continues to play on the power dynamic, I don't think the story can have a development between the two characters. Although we can detect some improvement in their relationship, both from the perspective of friendship and especially in that of the sexual relationship, where it seems that Joo is more involved and also tries to involve Dan, even if he does it the wrong way (expressing his usual boorish, selfish and narcissistic side), putting his pleasure above Dan's feelings; but that's how his characterisation is, you can't be surprised every time! On the other hand, there is Doc Dan who remains subservient to Joo and this in my opinion is the main problem, what basically makes the plot static. The only one who might try to change Joo's boorish behaviour a little is Dan himself, which is why I think a small percentage of the responsibility for how he lets himself be treated should also and especially fall on Dan! I'm sick and tired of reading over and over again how everyone wants to put ALL THE BLAME on Joo, when it's also Dan who lets himself be mistreated without standing up for himself one bit! There were moments when he was able to express his dissent by surprising Joo, so this could be the way to lead to plot development! Doc Dan's main problem is that he is still not confident with sexual intercourse, the pleasure and org*** that comes with it, due to the trauma he suffered with his former employer. Even if he likes to have s** with Joo (and you can guess he actually likes it), he will never accept it and will remain in his zone of denial, compromising himself and letting Joo take advantage of it. If only the author would start giving voice to Dan and give him the courage to face Joo on the level of s**, making him express all his perplexities and fears, I think something interesting could happen between the two.

@Clock
thank you for writing a whole book about your opinions that no one cares about :D
If you don't like it, don't read it, no one is forcing you
@this is 4 school u have a point tho, like fr no one is focing u to read it and if u don't like it u don't like it. Not my problem
@. They can comment on the author's work though if they want. Bj Alex had literally the same concept and the author just went along with it. AGAIN. If the readers don't like something, they have the right to criticize, hating and sending hateful dms though is a different thing
@this is 4 school You have not understood anything of my speech, before writing your bullshit, study the understanding of the text. Where did I write that I don't like it? If you don't care about my opinion, ignore it instead of making a fool of yourself and annoying me.
@this is 4 school I simply wrote my opinion, because I find the plot interesting and with some potential for growth, so I look at its future development by imagining various scenarios for improvement. Especially in the relationship between the two protagonists, because a minimum of improvement in their relationship can already be glimpsed! I like to understand and analyse the relationships between the various characters, the dynamics of events and especially how they can evolve! You people who did not understand my speech, thinking that I do not like manhwa and that I judged it negatively. Actually I like it and I am interested in it, that's why I judge it and analyse it.
Anyway, go fu** yourself
