BRO the meaning of the glasses is so deep. He uses the glasses to hide his past self from his current self; he uses the glasses to hide his eyes which are considered "windows to our emotions". He uses the glasses to "hide from his mothers gaze" which brings up the idea that hes hiding the truth/past or that he would be a different person if he wore them as his mom knows his past and his problems. This chapter is the turning point as he takes of his glasses and PUTS ON THE SHOES CIRRUS GAVE which is super symbolic as it shows hes ready to accept the truth and face his problems and taking resposibility. Guys i swear im not js yapping bc this is a common theme as other characters were glasses, like the final time we saw minwoo.
