Me thinks she deflected the wife beater's attention from her thinking she dodged a bullet. Why else wouldn't she follow up after her friend went dark? She also has all of her account stuff too so could have deflected anyone else wondering how she's doing. This rabbit hole is dark. Good thing we have torches and rope in case things go south.

I really didn't expected this series to be so interesting lol
