@Pethz LostShard the toxic japanese mindset. It is unfortunately very prevalent,  just culturally, if you aren't contributing to society you're basically useless. Hikkikomori- commonly translated as shut-in refers to a person who doesnt leave their house and is commonly seen as useless, even if they have a job on their computer, or they leave only for their job.
