Yes, so she made her lie obvious to him, which can make him start having doubts and could lead him to become aggressive. Plus, she did say he’s her husband to many other people, including during the competition that’s being filmed.
She told the truth now not because she didn’t want to lie, but because of the girl who “likes” the male lead (ML).
To me, she called him her employee as a way to convince herself that she doesn’t like him — and to make it seem like the other girl can have him. You know that moment when you like someone, and someone asks you about him, and you’re like, “Oh, he’s just a friend”?
I'm not blaming her, but she could have handled it better — especially when her life was at risk.
