it's not just this that I hate about the auctions.

Here is Item A - "absolutely irrelevant piece of trash", and the next several panels will be used to show people wasting money on it

Here is Item B - "same sh** as the first"

Here is Item C - "ala the mcguffin", but oops, it's the end of the chapter cause we ran out of panels

@1 1 you get it's irrelevant and an absolute waste like just go straight to the story

@Tropeh8r like the other nobles are saying 30 could get the rest which sure is probably supposed to be insulting but if 180 is wayyyyyyy too high then why the fu** would Mc need to throw out 180 instead of like idk 100 and not incure sh** tons of debt for no reason. same with the scroll.
