Nope, they weren’t a couple or anything like that before. In the novel, it said that ML actually hated our MC so much cuz he’s the reason why ML has to be looped every time(MC has the Anti-virus blood. If he died, it’s the end of this world). In the loop before this time, ML beat up our MC so badly to the extent that if someone hadn’t stopped him MC’d have died for real.
