I thought he said he " feels empty when I hold a basketball " and now he suggests to go play on a basketball court? What is going on??

@Me2you its not that he said that he stop playing basketball. He just feels empty inside. I presume he wants to gain the thing that made him play basketball but everytime he plays he just feels emptiness inside. Also maybe he plays basketball to ease boredom.
@Me2you he plays it, but he doesn't want to better at it or pursue a career on it
