He is the heir to a dukedom right so they don't need to do any "noble duties " until they get their title ? Because it amazes me that how unbothered the have been and it's also been quite some time since they came here in the beginning it was all about how their status is and the responsibilities and all but now..?

@Ismat Rehman Carcel's parents are alive lovey, so although Ines and Carcel are current dukes of Escalante, Isabela and Juan (Carcel's parents) live in the capital taking care of noble duties. and Inés takes care of the duties of the Calstera residence, while Carcel is a naval officer who takes care of military duties.
