okay, so.... i get the whole being "detached from basic human emotions" thing and that he kind of sucks at reading how people feel and stuff, but he's still a pretty smart guy. with his family background, i'm sure he's enjoyed a pretty good education, so he should at least be smart enough to have known he'd only get himself in more trouble by joining that kid in the basement instead of helping him out of there.
and yeah, i get that he probably did it because he too was forced to face and endure harsh punishments, but come on... he's got a pretty decently sized head on his shoulders, why the h*l does he have such a difficult time using it properly? 😭
