For every1 wondering what nain an amon are SPOILER: amon is a dragon and nain is his mate. In their world dragons eat(literally) their mates and reform them. This and alot of other things left nain with trauma and when a dragons mate losses the will to live they start fading, that's why amon allows osen ilyad to used this memory erasing incense to nain. Gwen is a mage from the labyrinth who researches dragons and their mates and came to trastasa to research nain (but ended up falling in love). Nain is a normal human who likes peace and hates killing but amon enjoys it, that's why he told osen ilyad to "make nain accustomed to death" and that's how most of their rituals end up seding the blood of the innocent
