Spoiler!
Daniel tried to calm him, saying that no one had connected the indulgences to the crimes yet. The only witnesses were two surviving children, and they were so weak that they could barely speak. The pope worried that the children might know something dangerous. Daniel reassured him that the children were under strict watch and that they would not survive much longer anyway. He admitted that they were only being kept alive with a tiny amount of divine power while their organs slowly hardened. Daniel believed that once the children died, the scandal would disappear and people would eventually forget. The pope then noticed that the red stone in his necklace was still glowing. He asked Daniel whether Viscount Orleans' similar necklace had been found. Daniel admitted it was still missing, which worried the pope even more because he wanted all evidence connected to them destroyed immediately. At that moment, a priest announced that Camilla of House Sorpel had arrived unexpectedly. Both the pope and Daniel were confused about why she would come. The pope ordered the priest to send her away, but Daniel decided to meet her personally.
Meanwhile, Camilla arrived at the temple with Arcian and Jayner. She did not explain her reasons to Arcian, only saying that she needed to check something. Jayner noticed how close Camilla and Arcian seemed and was clearly unhappy about it. When Daniel met them, he politely welcomed Camilla. He immediately recognized Arcian as the heir of House Sefra and even recognized Jayner from a past visit to the Gracia Empire. Camilla then showed him the broken necklace he had previously given her. Daniel looked shocked when he saw the shattered red stone. Daniel quickly brought her a replacement necklace. As soon as Camilla touched it with her right hand, the red stone sparked and shattered. Daniel brought another one, and the exact same thing happened. Camilla acted confused, but inside she was shocked. This confirmed her suspicion that the red stones were connected to soul extraction. Realizing the temple might be involved in something far darker, Camilla became worried about the two surviving children from Orleans' estate. She asked Daniel if she could see them because she wanted to help with their treatment. Daniel agreed without hesitation and personally led her to their room.

@Introvert So
Spoiler!
When Camilla entered, she was horrified. The children were in terrible condition. Their bodies were stiff, they could barely move, and they constantly cried in pain. Daniel claimed they were being kept alive through divine power, but Camilla noticed the ghost priest (she doesn’t know her name since they haven't had a proper introduction) beside them angrily shouting that the temple was simply letting them die. The ghost revealed that the children could respond to divine power, but not the weak divine power the priests were giving them. When Camilla heard this, she immediately asked the ghost to possess her body. Even though it was risky, she was willing to try anything if there was even a small chance of saving the children. Daniel watched Camilla standing beside the children and praised her kindness. However, Arcian saw something completely different. He could see the ghost talking to Camilla and realized something unusual was happening. He stayed alert and made sure nobody got too close to her. Suddenly, a tremendous burst of divine power exploded throughout the room. Brilliant light surrounded Camilla. Her hair turned silver, her eyes glowed gold, and she looked almost divine. The priests were overwhelmed by the sight and immediately dropped to their knees. Even Daniel was stunned because the amount of divine power she displayed was greater than that of the pope himself.
Camilla stretched out her hands toward the children, releasing another wave of overwhelming holy energy. Everyone could feel both its incredible power and comforting warmth. When the light finally faded, the miracle became clear.
The children's bodies were no longer stiff. They were lying peacefully on their beds, breathing normally and sleeping comfortably for the first time. The terrible pain they had suffered was gone. The priests burst into tears, believing they had witnessed a true miracle. Afterward, the ghost left Camilla's body and praised her. The ghost explained that such divine power could only work through someone with an exceptionally pure soul. Camilla was relieved that the healing had succeeded, but she soon noticed that something was wrong. Instead of feeling weak like she usually did after a possession, intense heat spread through her body. She became dizzy and nauseous. Her legs gave out, and she started to fall. Arcian immediately caught her before she hit the ground. He had been watching her carefully the entire time and instantly realized her condition was serious. Without wasting a second, he used magic and teleported both of them away from the Papal Palace, ignoring the strict ban on magic there because Camilla's safety was far more important.

@Introvert Then
Spoiler!
After Camilla suddenly disappeared with Arcian and used an incredible amount of divine power, the priests were left completely shocked. They believed what they had witnessed was a miracle from God. Many of them called it a saint-level blessing because the power was far beyond anything they had ever seen. Even Daniel, while looking at the peacefully sleeping children who had been saved, was amazed. However, he also became greedy and started wanting Camilla's body for his own plans. Meanwhile, Jayner, who had been left behind when Camilla teleported away, laughed bitterly. He thought it was rude that she disappeared without taking him along. Still, he found her more interesting than ever because she kept surprising everyone. Camilla eventually woke up. Before the ghost could comfort her, Arcian checked Camilla's forehead and was relieved to find that her fever had finally disappeared. He immediately went to get food because she had barely eaten while unconscious. During her illness, Arcian had stayed by her side the entire time, taking care of her. The ghost noticed that Arcian could somehow sense her presence. He couldn't see her clearly, but he could detect her as a dark shadow. Arcian disliked her because he believed she was responsible for Camilla collapsing. Before leaving the room, he gave the ghost a cold warning look.
The ghost then wanted to properly introduce herself. Camilla didn't understand why, since they probably wouldn't meet again. But when the ghost revealed her name as Arena Aguilas, Camilla was shocked because she recognized the name and realized the ghost was someone very important.
At the same time, High Priest Daniel reported to the Emperor of the Fabler Empire that the church's sacred relic had shattered when Camilla touched it. This had never happened before. They discussed how powerful Camilla was and considered that her saint-like divine power may have destroyed the relic. The Emperor admitted that he wanted Camilla because she possessed many rare abilities, including prophecy and extraordinary divine power. The church's original plan had been to use the red relic to weaken her soul and eventually extract it from her body. This method had always worked on others before, but it completely failed on Camilla. The Emperor remembered meeting Camilla and described her as a girl who smiled a lot. However, he was suspicious of her and felt uneasy around her. Even though stealing her soul would be difficult, he still wanted her abilities. Daniel suggested another option: instead of taking her body by force, they could try to bring her over to their side. The Emperor agreed to consider it.
Back at House Sorpel, Camilla was recovering. Arcian insisted on feeding her soup himself, which embarrassed her. Several people in the room disliked how close he was to her, especially Duke Sorpel, but none of them could complain because Arcian had done so much for her. During the week Camilla was unconscious, Arcian never left her side. Her temperature constantly changed because of divine fever. When she became too hot, he used magic to cool her. When she became too cold, he used magic to warm her. He stayed awake and cared for her continuously, even injuring his own hands while trying to protect her during the divine power incident. Although Duke Sorpel was annoyed by Arcian, he couldn't deny how much Arcian cared about Camilla. So he tolerated him for her sake. While eating, Camilla asked Duke Sorpel whether the church officials were still outside. The High Priest and many cardinals had been repeatedly coming to House Sorpel because they wanted to take her back to the church. Camilla was frustrated because they simply refused to give up on her.
