So I'm not really sure bit i think she falls in love with emiel or whatever his name is but she actually first marries someone else that makes her life miserable AGAIN IM NOT AURE I HAVEMT READ THE NOVEL SO IF IM WRONG CORRECT ME but it has a happy ending
