@Pardon_my_french tbh i kinda understand him, right, i agree that "i dont have any secret huhuhu" was too far and he should be at least honest that he's hiding something, but i get that he (while not knowing ml heard things, under really unfortunate coincidences, which created misunderstanings) didn't want ml to be anxious, considering their past. Mc might just think its not really important right now to mention everything

I can understand mc motivation, I think he has ml happiness in mind. But I still feel it's wrong because he's removing ml's choice and opportunity to deal with his pain. I think he'll be a better support if he talked about it and went with ML's decision.

Plus to be perfectly honest, I just feel like the side story plot are going in circle and we're dealing with the same thing for way too long. So it doesn't help 😆 
And miscommunication are tiresome.
But I also have my own problem with the trope of being the "savior/helper" in a relationship in stories.
