Comment on ChapterThree Months of Summer - Chapter 5
I m seeing a new trend where ml is majectic , handsome or rich or shredded super submissive like sometimes they feel like they don't hv any preference or passion and down with whatever fl wants all the time and virgin or younger ... At first I thought oh cute but if it's too much it feels weird like here he just met her but he's already acting like a dog like he's so in love n obsessed ,it's so sudden ok he liked her during school but it has been years since n she messed up the reply or rejected him and even tho there's not much back story it looks like they didn't converse much n one-sided love so it's impractical that he catches feelings so quickly n she isn't interesting person in appearance or personality as of now but he is drawn fit n majectic in comparison but is so down for someone subjectively ordinary woman(?) ,she claims so herself too.
It looks to me that these kind of mls are created to feed female ego n fetish ...I m not saying it's bad but pls give ml some thing of their own , preference or choice n opinion of self, and not entirely dependent on fl

@Cenholi  i totally agree with you but it's still ch 5 let's see how the story goes on!
@Cenholi  Yeah, agree. There is a backstory we haven't seen yet, but the heroine seems plain and boring. If she was a gorgeous queen like Yoshino, I would be the first one on my knees before even the hero, but alas.
@Cenholi  I mean you pretty much summed it up here "It looks to me that these kind of mls are created to feed female ego n fetish..." It's a common practice in practically all romantic media. Of course there is a similar set of archetypes that exist to feed the male audience. Like you said it's not necessarily a bad thing, however I suppose it can be unhealthy when consumed in an obsessive manner. Then again, manhwa readers (sm** especially) tend to easily fall into the priorly mentioned 'obsessive consumption.'
Just some food for though I guess
