@Arty people keep saying this and i don't understand why. he said it himself that he always kept it a secret how he felt about blondie. he never made a move on him for fear he wouldn't be able to stay by his side. how was blondie supposed to know?
he always only ever thought of them as friends and believed he loved hajin. sure, him being dense probably didn't help the situation either, but you can't expect someone who thinks they've always been in love with someone else to notice your feelings if you don't ever act on them. that's not fair towards that person.
i've been in that exact situation, where a good friend had feelings for me while i had feelings for someone else. they did eventually tell me after i got with that person and our friendship broke apart shortly afterwards. the thing is, i was in love with them way before they ever fell for me and eventually moved on because both of us failed to communicate our feelings. absolutely s*t situation, but that was on both of us, not one of us more than the other.
