If he lived 1000 year after the founding of the Roman empire then he would have lived in the year 250 which is NOT considered middle ages.

@Armageddon yeah, even later they say "its been 1000 years" dude, does the author think that the Roman empire was founded at the birth of Jesus Christ!?
@Bleb and geography isn't any better! They say he was from a Germanic tribe and "the land you lived on is now Norway" mother f-er you think when people talk about "Germanic tribes" they mean NORWAY? i mean you can technically count them as "Germanic" but if someone says that then they talk about central Europe! Germany, parts of Poland, czechia, and maybe austria and Bavaria!

@Armageddon I mean, technically, all Germanians originated in Scandinavia, but that would still be Denmark, not Norway
