@Your boyfriend thought the same thing, maybe when he sent people to take Heabom they hurt him on the head and grandpa dropped the "problem" because Heabom is amnesiac so grandpa think the "problem" is solve and he got Heabom relocated to "help him have a new life" he filled him with lies and stuff.
