the first panel I'm pretty sure that's a reference to that time Goku sent an evil bunny "thing" to the moon and forced him to make those mochi-bunny things for all of time

@Lylac Yes and no. I dont know where you are from, but like how America (and maybe other countries) have that thing about a man in the moon, in Japan, it's a Rabbit making Mochi (which I understand far more honestly, whenever I look at the full moon, i can clearly see the shape of a rabbit) So yes, in Dragon Ball Goku sent the rabbit to the moon to reference that fairy tale, and this too is based on that fairy tale, not specifically Dragon Ball
