what are the chances that the (female) body that Gideau is possessing is the missing daughter? After all the queen gave the child to Angela to use as a vessel, and Gideau did say that the female body he's possessing belonged previously to the witch. So it is either her plan to have the vampire king swear revenge against the one possessing his daughter or the author's plan to add drama (that IF i'm right and the blonde girl WAS the damphir in question). If nothing else it would explain how is she that physically strong without magic in that body.
