If the fortress was under siege, how were they going to join the defence force?

@HorseOnFire66 How about moving fortress? Yes it's already implemented when he show the triangle to the king.
@HorseOnFire66 I think they would have surrounded the opponants and attacked them with those under siege. (Sorry I'm learning english, I hope it's understandable and I don't trampled on this language)
