Sometimes, I have the feeling, like an impression that Ingolf was tricked into believing that Kyoichiro had some kind of evil plans and that is why he was part of the betrayal scheme. I think he truly respected Kyoichiro and he wanted to follow him and maybe that's the reason he got so strong, to reach him and his level.

@EGAKN1GHT Well at least it's what they are leading us to believe with some few hints here and there. A classic thing in betrayal/reincarnation/regression genre there always is a "good" one in the group of besterds!
