İllegitimate son? Did the mother woo with someone else and had a child out of that? Is that why the realtion with her husband is strained? She also seems to favor the illegitimate son more (if he is her son which I think he is.) than Hajin so probably he was from a partner she actually loved?

I think Hajin doesn't even truly belong to the family, or if I had to stretch maybe a much futher away relative? Since he had a whole different accent as a child + he seemed to be taken away from another family(?) I would like to assume that Hajin isn't truly a part of the family but is perfectly fit for the image. Maybe the father had an affair with a woman from the place Hajin got his accent from then abondoned them? It's just a theory tho, a manhwa theory. *wink wink*.
