My heart goes out to Riku.
He's only a kid (--yes, a kid!), who grew up being an alpha his whole life. Everything changes when he tries to make a debut with the socialites as if he was going through puberty again. He awakens as an omega, some guy (who is an adult lets not forget) claims him as one, changes his life within a week by telling Riku's parents not only is he an omega, he's also not your biological son.
Doesn't give Riku time to process anything or time to accept his new gender and come clean to his parents, so he is probably going through trauma but can't even process that cos now he's selling his self to the alpha to help with his parent's "business".
What's more he meets a beautiful omega who invalidates his worth without even getting a chance to know the boy.
Fark me, man. Give this kid a break, he can't even see his own beauty or worth and doesn't have the bone to stand up for himself cos everyone around him is just keeping him down.
I hope this kid gets up. I so hope he goes off cos I'm tired of having to read the same cliche and not seeing character development in some omegas or ukes for that matter.
