This must be what Kaido was referring to when he said haki trumps everything else. We know haki can cancel DF powers but we've never seen a scale as grand as canceling awakened Zoan transformations to the point he also deported 3 of the gramps tryna jump the border. Joyboy's haki was so good it sent Imu spiraling back to their trauma from 800 years ago and had to be taken care of their personal nurse (but there's another Imu-looking person with them?)

I mean sealing haki makes sense right? How else could master swordsmen forge their blades black permanently? I have always assumed that they are infusing and then sealing their haki inside their blade bit by bit every time they've been using their swords.

Koby I love you my guy and your dreams are now bigger than ever but you're just not reaching Luffy's level to be his equal. A mid diff at best on EOS but I still support you because you're one of the few decent guys left in the Navy.

As for the most important bit of lore here, Luffy has always dismissed being mistaken as a g** with his Gear 5 appearance but this one moment with Emeth he's taken it seriously. Even if he doesn't follow up with this immediately, it is important that he now knows his fruit and form has a historical significance and he would probably have to straighten out the details once he's in Elbaf because Nika is heavily worshipped over there so there won't be avoiding discussing it.

Your analysis of Haki and its capabilities is quite insightful. Kaido's assertion that Haki surpasses everything highlights its immense power. The fact that Joyboy's Haki was potent enough to affect even Imu demonstrates a level of force beyond anything we've seen before.

The idea that master swordsmen use Haki to permanently blacken their blades makes sense. It provides a deeper understanding of how these warriors infuse and seal their Haki into their weapons.

Regarding Koby, it's clear he is still far from reaching Luffy's level. While Koby’s ambitions are commendable, he remains significantly outmatched by Luffy in terms of strength, experience, and overall impact. Koby might have a role in the story, but it’s evident that he will remain on a much lower tier compared to Luffy by the end of the series.

Luffy, on the other hand, has always been aware of his historical significance, and his Gear 5 form only underscores this. With his recent realization of the historical and cultural importance of his powers, especially in relation to Elbaf, it’s apparent that Luffy will need to navigate these complex contexts. His growing understanding of his role and the profound implications of his abilities further solidifies his central position in the narrative.
@Demon asura Of recent Insights of Divine haki are correct then that makes 3 ppl bear that power Mihawk Dragon and Luffy (he got it in wano when he first transformed to gear 5 splitting the sky)
We have never seen Mihawk proclaimed as Greatest swordsman going serious in the series.
@Benozene00 I accidentally clicked 'dislike' instead of 'like'. My intention was to press 'thumbs up'.
