I'm not trying to fight, but I'm far away from being a kid and because of that, I can truly enjoy the incredibly deep bond and chemistry Ian and TJ have. Does TJ have toxic reactions? He might. Do I have doubts he's in love with Ian in his imperfect way? Absolutely don't. They both have a past, share a shi*** background and the shi*** things they did to be where they are, and most important, they know and accept each other as they are. As an adult, I find it childish that some people want Ian to become the perfect guy to fulfill whatever clueless fantasy Jo has about him because hello, he "fell" for Ian knowing anything about him beyond he's hot and whatever he wanted to see about him.
I don't know if Ian and TJ will end up together (I hope so), but dismiss their bond and that both love each other (according to the info we got up until now at least), saying it's a kid's thing... Love can be toxic, love can be unhealthy, love can be imperfect, but if both of them are in the same page and that bond is well portrayed as it is in this story, I'm completely in. Enough we have of pink cliches in which everything is perfect and also of those incredibly dark ones in which one of them is criminally abusive and the other one can't stand on his own.
