I find it really weird how most of the people wanting this to be BL are in fact women. I've found this ongoing trend with koreaboos especially and the infantilisation or fetishisation of gay men.
I know it's fiction, but it's still disheartening because I've seen this kind of behaviour transfer to real life with real people, myself included. It's creepy and borderline odd.
As someone who also has a brother, I'm irked that people equate being gay to just having a brotherly bond. I think people should be able to be affectionate and such toward the same s** without being shipped.
