okay here to explain. After the seal of memories being broken, Wa** yi(pink haired) is aware that he is in a novel. Since the memories returned by the main system, he got the memories where he was a "system". Before the systems being in animal form, they were in human form. In that memory we see Qi (or wtv the name is I'm sorry I forgot) being the human in a real world and Wa** yi(pink haired) as his system. Remember that black cat once talked abt some big big issues in main system or in the whole set up then systems were given a form of animal instead of human. My guess is that something with that issue involves these two from their initial stage.
