It's just for the plot, but i think that deep down, he knows he has feelings too but he doesn't want to accept it bc it's "weak" and this mf doesn,t wanna appear weak. But i think that deep down he wants this gift and always observe kim dan, he even was thinking abt why was he always tired and stuff. IT'S THE PLOT BE PATIENT POOKIES.
