I mean... was he wrong? Like doc dan is so mistreated by jay, him realising that he actually has to try to take care of dan, who's much smaller and weaker than he is is like the bare minimum and he doesn't even do that well! I love dan but if they're ever gonna be together jay is gonna need to work and earn dan's love, not vice versa
