I don't understand one thing.

Soleite loves Ian the same as he loved Brian, for they are the same beings, and never considered Ian to be any different from Brian regardless of the differences in their behaviour and way of living,
so why did Soleite cry when he learnt that Ian has regained his memory? I think it's related to how now Ian can truly and fully accept Soleite after learning about his past which he couldn't do until before, but I'm still not very sure...
