This story is pretty weird. They gloss over plot points and just move the reader right past them, making it seem like you missed something. Weird black demon smoke that apparently she has seen since childhood? Talking demon cat? Did fl have formal education? What's the details on the mages/demons? "We're not focusing on that. Moving right along now..." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I still like it, it's just weird.

@scarekte Sure, I understand pacing and letting a story unfold, but they're not showing OR telling. They're introducing plot points or characters and just glossing them into place. I can understand the smoke being explained later, but meowy is just there one day. You know?
