lol, looked like certain death and yet she pulled through. Exactly how the author likes to pull things all the time. Just goes to show, in this series, good guys never die, even when you see the body.

@DK00 Well if you knew of their other work, all the main characters died. A lot of fans were not happy about it. So this is more like the "let's make this right with this one" type of manga to make up for it. It's definitely wholesome and fan-service heavy, which a lot of fans love.
@Nyx in that case, I'm GLAD I didn't read his previous work. Like, I'm not complaining that no "good guys" die, but it HAS become rather predictable. You can only toe the line so often before it becomes clear you plan to never cross it.

@DK00 same autor of akame ga kill btw
@Johnkoke007 lol, then I read THAT to when it was being released. I'm VERY glad the author decided to go the other direction, because if I had known what I was in for with Akame ga Kill, I never would have started it.
@Nyx in the anime maybe, the manga didn't kill everyone tho.
@MangaBruhddy You sure? I admit I read it a while ago, but I vaguely recall the only one who survived was Akame
@MangaBruhddy Or was your point that Akame survived not everyone died? Does that mean that in the anime even she died?
@DK00 I recall Tatsumi surviving in Incursio's true form, Mine surviving with Tatsumi's child, Najenda and Akame surviving. I never watched the anime due to a friend informing me only Akame survived to the end back in 2016.
@Nyx Honestly a weak reason to not kill characters, but then they chose the right genre demographic to sell to. 🤣
