She gets kidnapped by drug dealers and he goes full Taken 2: The Anime on them. Its not until she reveales her version of the "singing tree" to him that it jogs his memories. And he becomes rather 'Spiteful' for that next in-story week. The whole sequence gave me knots in my stomach. And it gets EVEN MORE complicated after that.
