@Stephan Reed ive found that with chinese stories, the length of chapters seems to be inversely proportional to how long the series has been running for.

other manhwa/mangas in mangabuddy r doing the same
@AceGreninja you know that's not the case because they don't put the "to view the full chapter go to..." bullshit they always do
@AceGreninja I'm not aware of a trend by translation groups to cut chapters in half like that. The trend I'm seeing lately with translation groups is that they're (1) going way overboard with anti-adblock measures (i.e., whitelisting is not good enough for them and it's only readable on a certain browser) and (2) going to extremes with anti-bot, anti-theft measures to the point of tricking bots into stealing comic panels that are all messed up. Specifically, the panels that bots steal are sometimes either downloaded and arranged in a mixed up order or they're tricked into grabbing panels from different comics - sometimes even from yaoi (boy love) and other hentai.
