As a ra**/trauma surivivor, I am actually happy that the author made it a boy that got raped and not a girl bc you don't see a lot of boys and sh** just girls and I hate the sterotyping. Cause boys can get raped too but people choose to ignore it. And the way the author put his panic attack is SO ACCURATE, cause like if I see a certain gender(I don't wanna reveal which one I'm scared of) come TOO close or any hand come near me I will start crying and sometimes scream. The fear is his eyes is so accurate too. I just wish I had friends like his that knows how bad it can get 😭. My friends will just think I'm overreacting to something minor.
