I honestly hate selfish self-sacrificing ideology... like yes you sacrifice for the ones you love but that's so selfishly one sided. That's your point of view. The others feelings and point of views you are as important to them as them to you. As much as you don't want them to sacrifice themselves for you, the same goes for them.
Self-sacrifice is nothing more that one's ego claiming the moral higher ground and stroking their own pride.
