why'd they make xie Lian so chill 😠in the novel xie Lian is much more confident and KNOWS he's stronger. They skipped a scene where Lang qianqiu tries to fight xie Lian and xie Lian beats him in too seconds and laughs his head off at him and says "good" when Lang qianqiu says he will never be like xie Lian. Starember is a good artist but I think the art style right at the end of the ban yue arc was peak starember art. Also I know that so the chapters come out quicker the storyline has to be shortened but at least let xie Lian have a backbone 😠he's playing too much into the tiny femboy twink aesthetic and that is not giving strong graceful beautiful warrior crown prince that pleased the gods at ALL
@craycray We have to accept that many parts of the story in the novel will be missing or will be amended in Donghua/Manhua... Its hard for us now. This is the impact of excessive censorship….
@craycray and with the quality of art like this, they ofc should cut some part to make it more reachable in time to finish the project. I mean, how many years have it been since starember picked up tgcf? And look, were still in chapter 50+. I just hope they dont get burn out drawing this book, cause i see someone said the art is kinda changing
@craycray It is unfortunate how they cut out parts. They cut out a savage part where Xielian tells Qianqiu, "so what. I did it. What of it?" Part. But we will see as the adaptation progresses. I think she's pushing to finish this arc to take a hiatus because having it by the book takes so much time and she could be burning out. Artist arent perfect. But I can see her burning out fast because she's been releasing the manhuas and her art book. If you noticed, she there was a two week break between 99 & 100. So... We will see if she makes Xielian a tougher character. I don't think she's doing too bad but she did delete alot of his badass dialogue.
