@Cutesy I think he realised that it was a dream when was getting patted on his head because he thinks if it was real there's now way that would happen so he said I knew it meaning he knew it has to be a dream

@Cutesy he meant that he knew the mc also liked him.....but he also thinks that all that was a dream so yeah
