Adoption is the only legal way to get the last name of your homosexual partner, because homosexual marriage isn't legal there.

@ゲルデスソニャ oow that's good to know. It's just that in other part of the world adoption is also consider as parents,so it could be incest,even if they aren't biologically related.

In case of the family business later goint to her (onsen per example ) or him (factory or other businesses) that would be having a loss of status after changing the name.

Incase of those same s** adoptions it more to be seen as "i adopt you unto my family name" so the son thing doesnt even come up.

@ゲルデスソニャ woody Allen should have been in jail,not only for incest,also for grooming,but,you know, it's Hollywood and another time,so yeah. But if it was with this actual generation,it would probably not pass. Woody might not be a great example it that case cause he made a song about being in love with a 16yo girl and threatening the parents to runaway with her and that song pass,so... But I understood the context when you told me that it's like a "you'll have my name" thing.
