i liked the story but its just too much the parents are sh** and every fuc**** thing revolves around claire (silver hair) i get that its in the artwork but eciel is shown weak or less important isnt she also the daughter of a demi g** ? instead we get to hear the story from i girl who has evrything , it was said that claire has more things to study but from my point of view its eciel who has to put more effort to stand with her sister and because she doesnt have power and refused to study under an archmage/tower master she now has to put more effort
if it was me in eciel situation then i would humiliate that blue hair and curse that old hag for not accepting my parents and suggesting the marriage of a 9 yr old with a grown a** man i need no pity from a bi*** who couldnt give anyshit to her own children and really i wish that eciel becomes that blue bitche's tara just to say fu** you to her face
@lolicons nephew I don't really understand why the majority hates both the parents or the Duke alone but in my opinion he has done nothing wrong from the start, he is very expressive for someone who had no grasp of human emotions, very honest about his love for her and very logical in his please for her to stay. He isn't the possessive type to cage the wife in his mansion, he is simply begging with his heart on his sleeve for his wife who claims to love him too to stay with him and their daughters. The mom feels guilty I get it but it all turned out fine enough that she can live lovingly with him. But she continues to run and I understood why they kept branding her as selfish... Because she truly is, unbearably selfish.
As for claire? She is extraordinary and gifted and she feels suffocated because she cannot relate to the world she was born in while her twin can thrive in the same environment without being as extraordinary and the whole point of the plot is that people assume that eciel should be jealous of claire but it's literally the other way around, Claire is deep down extremely envious of eciel that she was born normal and didn't have to learn to act normal while still failing at it. She finds no joy or superiority in being branded as an astariol.
The Duke deserves the world, Eciel needs to be protected at all costs, Claire needs answers, closure and reassurance, the princess is just selfish and an overall very human but very crappy character.
