Okay, so somehow these monsters in the north don't give xp... I suppose it's reasonable to not have the mc become too op too quickly, especially for the upcoming arc, but it would make more sense to explain why they don't give any xp. It can't be because they're undead since undeads do give xp, but eprhaps it's due to the influence of these "anicent gawds? Too many "x is y" nonsense in these series, hard to read without turning off your brain.
