The manhwa is actually making much more sense than the novel 😆 cuz in the novel all authority, restrictions and influence has already been lifted but not only was Edith sent to the dungeon when Reeze tried to frame her of hurting her everyone except Killeon were still readily doubting Edith... They were still talking and acting as if they had no will or mind of their own.
Here in the manhwa, there is clear distinction between before and after Reeze's influence is lifted. And I like the fact that the mother who is practically useless in the novel is taking an active role in unearthing all her crimes 😌 as it has deeper significance cuz she was the one who brought her in the first place it is only right that she'd also be the one to lead her out.
