This character is a shame for the series. It deconstructed the goblin slayer so bad it destroyed its myth and legend, its aura. Especially coming back to rescue him instead of letting him do his thing.
"Boy" got his a** covered by a random guild-girl who works a da** office job 24/7, she's even suited up to show us some lame powerpoint for fu*** sake. Obviously the dude gotta have an origin story, can't be a total badass from day one. ...Although...Wasn't that exactly the purpose of his training-montage with his vicious master ? So not only is it redundant, it is also paradoxical. On top of that this universe was so 'realistic' in its take about equipment but look at her. She looks like she's from some dumb shonen where the louder they scream the stronger they get. Totally out of place.
@TotallyAbsurd the story has more dnd elements compared to the main manga. I believe that it is closer to the light novel. Her class would be monk, specializing in the combat like that. although I have to admit that her weapon is not something that your typical monk would use, but there are other differences from the dnd such as how they recover spells, what is defined as spell and so on. As for our favorite slayer, he has yet to recieve 5 more years of combat experience. He is 15 and by the start of the main story he is 20. Basically there is only so much you can learn about something without actually doing it.
