@YueZhan he's actually a horrible character. They tried to redeem him in the manwha, ambition aside, he used, and abused the go cheated on her the entire marriage, and when he was about to die ignored her warnings, because he wanted to cheat on her. He said she was too pathetic for him to actually love her and couldn't accept that he loved her and thus kept sleeping with another woman. The fl still saved him. Yato can't be measured by human standards, because he isn't one. He's trying to understand humans but can't comprehend human emotions, which is why he's trying to become human and believes he can only do so by eating humans. Humans eat animals without remorse, they even treated do worse than an animal, and as someone who can't even comprehend human emotion he still was able to feel anger on her behalf. Everyone but Yato used her. And in all truth, The fl and Yato were married, both celestial beings and when the fl reincarnated to earth, Yato followed her in hopes of finding her but lost his memory in the process. He just wanted to be accepted despite his hideous appearance and the fl accepted him and she just wanted someone to be kind to her, and he was that to her. So, the manwha gave a distorted image. Everyone in the story except for yat treated her horribly and there's no one except for Yato that actually deserves her affection.
