Anybody would the resent the person bkz of whom he loss his future, even if it was his choice. You saw a child you know since birth going carelessly on road, what would you do? You will definitely save him. It's not like he wanted to hurt himself and it was the tops stupidity for running in a busy road. So I understand why would MC will resent him. MC deserves better not an obsessive child who doesn't respect his wishes
