MC beat the orc in a fair duel the first day in sword class. The elf took it personally -some misinterpretation of "honor of a knight" combined with her household teachings.
She took it more personally that the orc didn't want revenge and that Leehan beat the three goons the elf sent after him.
By the time of the drugging incident, Leehan figured if elfie was going to be so petty, he'd give her a real reason to hate his guts. Hence the drugging and dumping her and her cohorts where the headmaster's patrol could find them.

@Galactic Navy Officer actually the entire dumping thing was because he knew the summons didn't disappear because they weren't captured and wanted to escape 🤣 petty a** teachers didn't give them a choice in the first place
@Ethan Elliot He didn't have to dump the elf specifically into the frying pan. One student would've been enough. And a couple of the guys with the elf looked like the ones that attacked MC; no one would think it weird if he dumped them where the summons could find them.
@Galactic Navy Officer so how magic works that targets specific individuals and won't quit until all the individuals are caught... is that ALL the individuals have to be caught -_- so yeah, they are all getting dumped. No worries, it's for the greater good called "Sleeping in a bed instead of a cold cave floor" I would have abandoned them too... but I would have given them a soldier's salute for their sacrifice o7
@Ethan Elliot We don't know the headmaster used that type of magic. We know he used an illusion and summons, but not how specific targets were decided. The only definite factor is at least one person had to be caught to disarm the trap.
