You can still make bombs and artillery. Would be very effective. Sure they can block bullets but what about a fuc**** cannon ball.

@Locator maybe the just slice or just tank it
@Locator the uncle cut down a castle gate, so cannon ball might not be a threat. Same with artillery because they probably could catch a boulder moving slower than a matchlock bullet. Bomb would depend on how big, if we talking grenade, they could be tanky enough to shrug off the blast and armor would block the frag.
