@My pookie is in the black shirt Girl, you popped up a whole month late just to say a bunch of nonsense, call people names, and act like you did something. First of all, yes, people were leaving rude, dismissive comments under the author’s note. Things like ‘who cares’, ‘skip’, ‘next ch’, 'nobody gaf'. That did happen. Maybe you scrolled too late, maybe you can’t read dates, or maybe your brain lags like your replies. Either way, denying it won’t make you look smart.
Second, saying ‘if they weren’t grateful, they wouldn’t have read it’ is the most brainless take ever. Reading something for free doesn’t automatically mean you’re respectful. You can enjoy content and still act like trash in the comments. Both can be true, and that’s exactly what was happening.
Third, saying ‘just go to the app’ like it cancels out disrespect is dumb logic. Whether you read it here, on the app, or from a scroll made of tree bark, basic decency applies everywhere.
Fourth, the author will not read the comments, but that’s no excuse to act like a gremlin. You don’t litter your friend’s house just because they won’t see it, right? Maybe you do actually.
Lastly, calling people ‘hoe’ or keep saying 'stfu' comme une virgule just because you’re too pressed to form a valid argument? That’s not a mic drop. That’s a tantrum. Take a breath, touch some grass, and next time, read before you reply. You’re defending people who were being rude in public and pretending that makes you noble. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.
And before you even start with the “you can’t call out disrespect if you haven’t paid”. Respect isn’t a subscription-based service. You don’t need to spend money to recognize when someone’s being a jerk in the comments. I can absolutely enjoy content for free and still say that people acting entitled and rude to the author are out of line. That’s not being a ‘hero’ that’s just having common sense.
